All this hype…

And they go an announce an ‘iPhone 4S’, sucks to be an apple fanatic now doesn’t it :P The Nexus Prime (Android of course) is looking waaaay better.

Big ‘improvments’ to the iPhone 4S (from what i have heard) include a better screen and a better camera, oh joy. No matter how fancy the image chip you stick in that little camera is, you are still taking pictures with a camera the size of a pen cap. Aka putting the camera on steroids just sells more product to people who don’t know better and just look at numbers.

Canada Post Sucks

I was expecting a package in the mail today, had the phone near me at all times and even left a little note both at my mailbox and near the front door. I mention how to get a hold of me, and detailed steps on how to use the buzzer. 

What do they do? give me a ‘delivery notification’ for pick-up tommorow :-| I don’t even think they try…lazy government contractors…

This beautiful man right here is the love of my life.  His name is Michael, he’s 24 and while I’m only 19 it doesn’t matter.  He also has stage 1 diabetes.  I can’t imagine how hard it is for him.  Everyday is filled with testing his blood sugar constantly, taking insulin, counting carbohydrates, and so on.  To top it all of, he doesn’t have health insurance and he has been declined for medical.  Yesterday, Michael ran out of insulin and I took him to the Emergency Room at a local hospital.  It took them about 2 hours to seem him even though they knew how serious his condition was.  His blood sugar was around 500.  Mind you, it’s supposed to be around 150.  Finally we got into a room and they were only to give him 15 units of insulin which allows him to eat.  They have no samples of insulin at the hospital.  They blatantly told him that he is going to have to be without insulin for awhile.  I’m sorry for being so blunt but if any of you think that this “system” is working, I really don’t know if you have any common sense.  Any system that refuses to give a person with a medical condition, the medicine they need in order to live well I think that system is fucked.  We’re run by corporate assholes who are ONLY interested in self profit.  This is just another example of why I hate the government.  Did I mention we’re going to be charged a couple hundred dollars for having to go to the hospital last night?  He should have gotten that insulin for free, it’s all bullshit..either that or everyone should have FREE medical insurance.  It’s a fucking human right!

Tumblr pet peeve of the day:

When people assume they lost followers because of a specific act/post/reply/etc. If you lost a follower or followers it doesnt mean its because you just posted something that turned them off from your blog. There are many reasons why people unfollow other people, not everyone is so spontaneous with the unfollow button.

Life’s Unfair of the day: It costs my bf $300 roundtrip to go home for Christmas to Denver. But it costs me $600 to go home to Winnipeg for Christmas on the exact same dates. I would even have to transfer in Denver :-| WTF.
